Sunset Spaghetti: A Tangy Tomato Basil Pasta Delight

Ingredients:
– 8 oz spaghetti
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
– 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

3. Stir in the diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the tomato sauce.

5. Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

6. Serve the Sunset Spaghetti hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
