Ingredients:
For the Rub:

🧂 1 tablespoon meat tenderizer
🌶️ 1 tablespoon paprika
🧂 1/2 tablespoon white pepper
🍂 1 tablespoon hickory smoke powder
🍬 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
For the BBQ Sauce:

🍅 1 cup ketchup
🍎 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
🍬 1/4 cup brown sugar
🥄 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
🥄 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🧅 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
🌶️ 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Prepare the Ribs:

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
Remove the Smithfield Unpeeled Pork Loin Back Rib from its packaging and pat it dry with paper towels.
Make the Rub:
3. In a small bowl, mix together the meat tenderizer, paprika, white pepper, hickory smoke powder, and light brown sugar.

Season the Ribs:
4. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the rub mixture, pressing it into the meat to ensure it sticks.

Bake the Ribs:
5. Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil, creating a sealed packet.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and begins to pull away from the bones.

Make the BBQ Sauce:
7. While the ribs are baking, prepare the BBQ sauce. In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper.
8. Simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add BBQ Sauce and Finish Cooking:
9. Carefully remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush the homemade BBQ sauce over the ribs.
10. Increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Serve:
11. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side and enjoy! 🍽️
