How to Make Delicious, Cheesy Meatball Subs at Home
Craving a cheesy, delicious meatball sub? Learn how to make these easy homemade meatball subs with juicy meatballs, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella in a toasted hoagie. Perfect for a quick, tasty meal!
Ingredients:
Hamburger meat
Italian sausage
Fennel seeds
Pure tomato sauce
Canned tomatoes
Garlic powder
Paprika
Salt & pepper
Mozzarella cheese (to stuff inside the meatballs)
Parsley
Sugar
Hoagie buns
Green peppers (sautéed for topping)
Onion (sautéed for topping)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Meatball Mix
Voiceover: “Start by mixing hamburger meat with Italian sausage in a large bowl. Add fennel seeds to give it that extra Italian flavor.”
Step 2: Add Seasonings
Voiceover: “Now, season the meat with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure everything is well combined.”
Step 3: Stuff the Meatballs
Voiceover: “Cut mozzarella cheese into small cubes. Take a portion of the meat mixture, press a cheese cube inside, and roll it into a meatball. Keep going until all the meat is used.”
Step 4: Cook the Meatballs
